Doddabetta Peak

At approximately 2,637 metres, Doddabetta is the highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills and one of the most popular viewpoints in all of Tamil Nadu. Visitors can take in sweeping panoramas of the surrounding hills and valleys from the observation tower, and the adjacent Doddabetta Tea Factory & Museum lets guests learn about Nilgiri tea production and enjoy valley views at 1,839 metres elevation. The peak is a short drive from Ooty town centre.
