The Tibetan Market and the adjacent Ooty Main Bazaar form the town's most vibrant shopping and dining district, coming especially alive in the evenings with vendors selling handicrafts, woollen clothing, handmade chocolates, Nilgiri tea, spices, and traditional Toda silver jewellery. The Tibetan Market is particularly popular for its steamed momos and other hot street snacks, making it a great spot for a casual dinner.
